Announcement is made of the engagement of Amanda Lee Adams and William Ore. She is the daughter of Scott E. and Karen Adams of Fairfield and Terry Rainville of New York, and he is the son of Norbert and Mary Ore of Marietta, Ga.

A June wedding is planned.

The future bride, a graduate of Fairfield High School and Southern Connecticut State University, is a special education teacher in North Carolina.

The future bridegroom, a graduate of Hartsville High School in Hartsville, S.C., attends Limestone College. He is a PGA golf professional in North Carolina.
