The Bridgeport women's volleyball team (31-6), the East Coast Conference champion, will be making the program's second straight NCAA Division II tournament appearance, as they will be the No. 3 seed in the East Regional that will be hosted by Dowling College from Thursday-Saturday. UB will play No. 6 seed UMass Lowell.

Dowling College is the No. 1 seed in the East Region and will serve as host for the NCAA Regional. Bridgeport defeated Dowling on the Golden Lions home court on Saturday night in five sets to win the East Coast Conference title

The winner of the UB-UMass Lowell match will face the winner of No. 2 New Haven-No. 7 Pace on Friday
