Whether you're ready or not, summer will soon be here. And with the warmer weather, it's time to peel off those extra layers of clothing we've all be hiding behind. Looking through my wardrobe, I noticed that I have many different sizes and colors of clothing. Some are in style, some are not. I'm glad that, these days, most clothes never seem to ever go out of style. Isn't it so true that what was old is now new again? For example, skirts that have a flare silhouette are a look everyone seems to be wearing again. I remember those skirts from years ago. They may have a new name and come in different colors, but it's the same old thing. Wedge shoes are back in style, too. This is the kind of weather I really like when we can wear sandals and give our feet extra attention and some air. My feet feel so free. I want to caution, however, about one thing. Just because it's almost summer, we can all still be modest in our dressing. If you are a size 8 or size 18, wear your right size. If you are going to be half-dressed, head for the beach. I don't understand why people want to wear clothing that is two sizes too small. Let's face it, we all know what size we wear whether it's large or small. If you wear a size 14, why are you squeezing into a size 10? Please, put it back in your closet, sell it or give it away. If you must wear a thong, wear it as an undergarment, please, not on the outside of your clothes. Just because they sell something, it doesn't mean it looks nice on me.
