Next year at college, in a sea of strangers, I know that I will be grateful to pass by one familiar face over the course of a day.
It is these little things that make me know that some part of me will miss high school. Whether it is that quick passing smile from a friend, or that teacher who so intently cares about your learning, I admit that there are definitely things that I will be sad to leave behind. I still desire graduation, but I am able to appreciate what I have for the remaining time. This is plenty to keep me going for the 68 days remaining.
