The prices of the company's nitrogen, oxygen, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide will rise 10% to 20%, helium prices will rise 15% to 30%, while Praxair's monthy fees will see increases of up to 15%.
Praxair said that the actions are being implemented in response to rapidly escalating energy, fuel, and other operational costs, current supply and demand imbalances, and increases in the cost of capital goods to support customer product supply.
